South Korea’s government will spend about KRW4 trillion won (US$3.1 billion) to build a new passenger terminal and expand roads at Incheon International Airport, according to a Bloomberg report. The expansion, scheduled for completion in 2015, will see its annual passenger capacity rise 41% to 62 million, while cargo capacity will be increased 29% to 5.8 million tons. The project will also include adding more aprons to park planes and extending a railway line to downtown Seoul.
