Thomson has announced a new ‘Platinum Lifestyle’ portfolio to group together design-led hotels already in the Platinum collection.
Hotels in the Platinum Lifestyle grouping must have a variety of a la carte dining options, a spa with indulgent treatments and the option to upgrade rooms, as well as a 90%+ satisfaction rating and free WiFi.
The new hotel collection will be available in 17 destinations including Halkidiki, Morocco, Majorca, Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Cancun.

The brand new Platinum Lifestyle collection brings together our design-led, contemporary favourites with a core group of benefits that are on our customer’s wish lists for their perfect holiday,” said Mark Hall, director of product for Thomson and First Choice.
The new collection is part of several additions for Thomson and First Choice next summer.
There will be five new SplashWorld resorts in Menorca, Hurghada, Crete, Tunisia and Costa Del Sol for 2015 as well as four new SuneoClub additions in Antalya, Bodrum and Crete.
The SplashWorld resorts are known to include various water slides for guests, as shown in the video here.
Croatia also remains as a focus for growth, with the tour operators to offer holidays to the Dalmatian Coast next year. Hotels have been added close to Split and further south on the coast close to Makarska. Thomson Celebration will also homeport in Dubrovnik next summer.
