Shanghai’s Pudong New Area will build a tourism centre and a variety of new tourist attractions before the 2010 World Expo, the Shanghai Daily has reported. The Expo is expected to attract 70 million visitors and the government wants to increase the areas number of sightseeing, shopping and water-themed attractions, as well as scientific venues and historical and cultural sites.
