New Vietnamese sea route

Plans for a VND19.6 trillion (US$1.23 billion) express sea route connecting north and south Vietnam have been submitted to the Government, the Vietnam News has reported. The route will use six large ferries to carry up to 2,700 passengers and 900 vehicles at a time. If approved all ferries are expected to start operating by 2011.
