Ngong Ping 360, the Hong Kong cable car attraction, recently held a charity walk event which saw participants plant 2,000 seedlings at Nei Lak Shan, one of Hong Kong’s highest hills, on Lantau Island. The event, organised in association with the Wai Yin Association, attracted a record 800 participants.
Ngong Ping 360’s Managing Director YT Li, said; “We actively promote care for our environment and healthy activities. In addition to the spectacular blue and green scenery you can enjoy along the Ngong Ping cable car journey, we hope our guests can share this experience with their families and friends and help contribute to the protection of this beautiful natural environment.”
The walk started at Ngong Ping 360 Tung Chung Terminal before participants took a cable car ride to Ngong Ping Village and walked along Ngong Ping Trail to the Nei Lak Shan Tree Planting Area. All participants were able to take a free-of-charge round trip journey on the Ngong Ping cable car.
