Nine more stations along the Singapore Metro’s Circle Line are set to open on 17 April, Channel NewsAsia has reported. The country’s Land Transport Authority (LTA) said the openings would raise daily passenger levels on the line by at least five times, to approximately 200,000 users per day. One of the new stations – the Paya Lebar Interchange Station - will enable passengers to bypass the busy City Hall and Raffles Place interchanges.
