No flights during Olympics opening

Airlines are being told to stay awayfrom Beijing’sairport during the opening ceremony of the Olympics, Associated Press reported.
Noofficial announcement has been made, but AP quoted local media and airlines assaying that Beijingairport would close for about four hours during the opening ceremony, affectingdozens of flights.
CathayPacific said it would postpone one flight after receiving word from Chineseauthorities recently that the airport would be closed during the opening ceremony,set to begin at 8 p.m. on 8 August.
