Representative ImageMarshall Meadows Manor House Hotel has reported a remarkable 46% increase in wedding revenue for 2025, attributed to its collaboration with Profitroom. The Northumberland hotel, renowned for its coastal views and luxury experience, adopted Profitroom’s integrated technology suite, which replaced manual processes with automated, data-driven tools to enhance efficiency and direct channel performance.
The hotel saw a 118% rise in reservations year-on-year, with significant improvements in group bookings and direct revenue. The implementation of Profitroom’s Booking Engine, Channel Manager, and CRM has been pivotal in this success. Previously, the hotel managed weddings and group bookings manually, which limited scalability and efficiency. The new system introduced exclusive promo codes and automated processes, reducing administrative workload and increasing rate integrity.
James Little, General Manager of Marshall Meadows Manor House Hotel, stated, “Partnering with Profitroom has transformed how we operate. We have gained so much more control over our bookings and dramatically reduced the manual work for our team. The results speak for themselves, from wedding revenue to voucher sales and newsletter bookings.”
The hotel also leveraged Profitroom’s CRM and newsletter tool, converting a database of 4,700 contacts into a powerful marketing channel. This strategy resulted in 10% of bookings being generated directly from email campaigns. Additionally, voucher sales were seamlessly integrated into the booking journey, providing another revenue stream.
Patryk Luszcz, Regional Director for the UK at Profitroom, commented on the hotel's success, highlighting their willingness to adopt new technologies and modernise their approach to weddings and guest communication. The hotel's performance improvements included a 71% increase in conversion rate and a 53% rise in direct bookings, with a slight reduction in the share of online travel agencies. By May 2025, the hotel had already matched its total revenue for 2023, marking a significant boost in profitability.
