Norwegian Cruise Line is to let its fans select the names of its next two ships through a Facebook campaign, it has been revealed.
The campaign, which is available to fans in the UK, US, Canada, Spain and Germany will allow followers to select their favourite names from five options.
People who vote will automatically be entered into a prize draw for the ship’s inaugural event.
“We have the most passionate and engaged fans. We know that nothing makes our community more excited than the anticipation of our new ship launches and these two are our largest and most innovative ships ever,” said Kevin Sheehan, Norwegian’s chief executive officer. “It’s so important to us to involve our community of Norwegians in this exciting process. We have listed name options that speak to the character of our brand and allude to the uniqueness of Freestyle Cruising.”
The two new ships will be the biggest in the line’s history at 4,200 passengers berths each.
The choices for the ships include Bliss, Discovery, Dreamaway and Escape. You can cast your vote here: https://www.facebook.com/Norwegiancruiseline/app_221003444725788
