Norwegian Cruise Line has begun a series of major consumer promotions this month in international markets including Asia Pacific. The first week of May saw Norwegian’s ‘Kids Sail Free’ offer, inviting children aged 17 and younger to sail free when their parents book a cruise.
Following this for the remainder of May, Norwegian has embarked on its largest-ever campaign in Asia Pacific, guests who book a sailing of five days or more can receive up to US$500 to spend on board. The promotion, which runs until 31 May 2011, is applicable for all sailings through April 2013 on each of Norwegian’s 11 vessels.
“We continue to see tremendous support from our travel partners from around the world,” said Francis Riley, Director of Sales for Asia Pacific, Latin America & the Caribbean. “In recognition of that, we have put our “Travel Partners First” by upping our commitment and providing them with a range of promotions for their clients. The offers are suitable for everyone from families to couples, as well as guests looking to take a cruise vacation this year or that may be waiting for a great reason to book now for specific dates and destinations in 2012.”
Other concepts will include the Pastry Library, which is designed to replicate a French patisserie, and includes an open kitchen trend.
“S.T.A.Y is a dining concept that I created for those who are looking to dine without restraint in a stylish and contemporary space, among innovative cuisine and interactive experiences. An unforgettable dining experience should be filled with pizzazz, have multi-sensory elements and culinary drama. Having established S.T.A.Y successfully in Dubai and Morocco, I am excited to bring this concept to Asia through Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing,” said Chef Yannick.
