A group of New Zealand foodies are taking the concept of ‘extreme cuisine’ to new levels. Adventurous guests at the Hokitika Wildfoods Festival will get the chance to sample a glass of cold horse semen.
News.com.au reported racehorse owner, Lindsay Kerslake, as saying that the semen is “pure testosterone” and that one shot will have people “raring to go”. Adventurous punters can either sample the semen au naturel, or in a range of flavours including cherry, liquorish and banoffee pie. And the price of this ‘delicacy’? NZ$10 (US$7.60) per shot. Thanks, but I think I’ll stick to beer.
