Oceania Cruises has revealed its newly designed suite accommodations for the upcoming Oceania Sonata, the first ship in the Sonata Class, set to launch in August 2027. The ship will feature a variety of suites, with 33% of its accommodations dedicated to these luxurious spaces, catering to the modern luxury traveller. The 86,000-gross-tonne ship will host 1,390 guests, attended by 855 crew members.
The ship's standout features include four Owner’s Suites, each over 2,500 square feet, offering 180-degree ocean views from wraparound verandas. These suites boast two bedrooms, including a master suite with a king-size bed and a marble-clad bathroom. Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Oceania Cruises, stated, “Oceania Sonata is a triumph of spacious design and meticulous craftsmanship to deliver our unwavering commitment to extraordinary experiences and our unique brand of hospitality.”
Additional suite options include eight Vista Suites, ranging from 1,500 to 1,900 square feet, and 16 Oceania Suites, offering between 1,000 and 1,400 square feet of space. The new Horizon Suites, a category positioned between the Penthouse and Oceania Suite categories, provide over 600 square feet of contemporary design.
All suites come with dedicated butlers and in-suite illy coffee machines. The ship will also feature Oceania Cruises’ next-generation Tranquillity Beds and Aquamar luxury bath amenities. Oceania Sonata’s itineraries will be available for viewing on 22 January 2026, with bookings opening on 29 January 2026.
