Oman Air appoints new UK & Ireland manager

Oman Air has appointed Rohan Alce as the airline’s new country manager for the United Kingdom and Ireland.Based at the airline’s London office in Chiswick, Alce will be responsible for overseeing the airline’s day-to-day operations in the UK and Ireland and he replaces Abdullah Zantout, who moves to Beirut to take on a new role with Oman Air.Alce brings with him a wealth of experience, having worked in the airline industry since 1966. He began his career with British Caledonian, moved on to Virgin, and has since held senior management positions with Qatar Airways, Gulf Air and, most recently, Etihad. Having previously lived in Canada, Europe, and the Middle East, Mr Alce is now returning from the USA to lead Oman Air’s UK team.
