Online Travel Training launches instant messaging service

Online Travel Training (OTT) launched an instant messaging service for travel agents with TravelChat. The service, which has been developed under ABTA’s Travel Industry Partnership initiative, enables travel agents and suppliers to communicate through a MSN or Skype style function. It is free and can be accessed by any internet browser. “All too often travel agents waste valuable time trying contact suppliers. Equally, trade suppliers are ever keen to nurture good working relationships with their key agents,” said Bruce Martin, operations director at OTT. “TravelChat meets these needs via a simple and inclusive approach to technology and we urge the industry to support it”.
