Pacific Blue Airlines has announced plan to expand into Asia for the first time, the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation has reported. The airline will launch 11 direct flights a week from 3 Australian hubs (Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth) to Diapason, Bali, effective 1 December.
“Venturing into a brand new market is tremendously exciting for our Group of airlines, particularly given the new flights to Indonesia will be our first foray into Asia,” said Virgin Blue Chief Executive, Brett Godfrey.
To celebrate its new Bali flights, the airline has launched a new fare promotion, “Gnarly Bali”.
