Joining the Dubai delegation at London’s World Travel Market for the first time is the Park Regis Kris Kris Hotel. The property will showcase its facilities as a major new city-centre property that offers both international levels of service and competitive pricing. The 390-room Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai is part of the Australian Staywell Hospitality Group, and while the group is well-known in Asia, the aim this November will be to promote the brand in the major European markets.According to Hassan Al Jawhari, director of Sales & Marketing at the hotel, many leisure guests were now looking for alternatives to the limited range of beach properties in Dubai, while the business sector had a reinforced need for price sensitive deals following the recent global recession.”The UK is still the number one market for Dubai with nearly 720,000 visitors from that one country last year, just under 10% of the total,” he said. “In addition, World Travel Market attracts not just visitors from the UK but also many travel trade representatives from Europe and worldwide, making it an essential part of our marketing campaign for 2012 business.”We have had a resounding success in our first year of operation with excellent client feedback and recognition with the rebound of the Dubai markets and hotels experiencing dramatically improved performances compared to the previous two years. We have to maintain this momentum and gear up our visibility in the vital European markets and a presence at WTM is essential in this respect.”
