Parkland Hotels plots expansion course
The Parkland Group of Hotels has announced plans to add three more properties to its portfolio. For the first time, the group will be spreading its wings outside Delhi, the development of a 100-room hotel in Sector 44 of Gurgaon. The property, which will open in July this year, will be run as a Ramada franchise., and will feature a roof-top swimming pool and car-lift parking. In addition Group General Manager, OP Mendiratta, said that two more Parkland hotels would be developed near Delhi’s airport. These have a combined inventory of 120 rooms and are due to start receiving guests in 2011.
Parkland currently operates eight hotels in the Delhi area, including locations in Green Park, Chirag Enclave, Nehru Enclave and Defence Colony.
