The CEO event, focusing on “Confronting Climate Change” takes place in Bangkok on April 29 and 30.
“The PATA CEO Challenge 2008 will bring Asia Pacific travel and tourism industry leaders together under one roof for the first time to confront climate change,” it said.
PATA has announced that the keynote speaker at the event will be 2007 Nobel Peace Prize recipient Dr Rajendra Pachauri, Chairman of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
Joining him are destination strategist Anna Pollock and global futurist Rohit Talwar. More speakers will be announced soon, PATA said.
The conference venue will be the brand new Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld in downtown Bangkok.
