Plan to integrate Pearl River Delta airspace

The plan has been formulated to resolve long-term regional airspace congestion in the Pearl River Delta area, Xinhua has reported. The Pearl River Delta Air Traffic Management Planning and Implementation Working Group, formed by the civil aviation authorities of the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and the Macau, will aim to rationalise airspace design, enhance flight level distribution, standardise air traffic control systems, and establish extra air routes in the region.
