The government of Rajasthan is looking at transforming the destination into a major tourism hub.

“To attract both domestic and foreign tourists, the state agencies would act as facilitator for tourism sector and ensure participation of private players,” said Rajasthan’s Chief Minister, Vasundhara Raje.
The Chief Minister, who was addressing a meeting of tourism department in Jaipur, insisted on improving the infrastructure facilities to support expansion of tourism activities. In the meeting, it was also suggested that publicity should be done through social media, websites, information technology and other such mediums.
The Chief Minister said that a detailed and extensive map will be prepared spotting different gates, pathways, chopars and other monumental locations of the Walled City of Jaipur, reported IBN Live.
