P&O Cruises and Cunard have launched new premium value fares and lower-priced Early Savers from spring 2014.
The new fares will take effect on 4 November 2013 and apply to bookings for spring 2014 and beyond.
The new headline fares are named P&O Cruises Select Price and the Cunard Fare will be the premium fares with flexible booking conditions and are lower than the Vantage Fares that they replace. With these fares customers will be able to choose their cabin as well as the services of a shuttle bus; onboard credit, car parking or coach transfers.
The Early Saver fare offers price reductions and the choice of cabin grade and location with a lower priority of dining time or table size.
Other promotional fares will be available time to time. The current Vantage and Getaway structure will be available for all cruises departing up to the spring of 2014.
“We listened to our travel agents as part of our Agent Matters programme and have developed a fare structure that will allow them more opportunities to convert customers at all booking lead times. Importantly, this initiative will help agents to replace lower-priced late bookings with more profitable earlier-booking business,” said Gerard Tempest, chief commercial officer of Carnival UK.
