Portman, the UK-based travel management firm, has signed a new four-year contract with Evolvi Rail Systems covering online rail bookings and fulfilment for its clients.
The agreement means that Evolvi, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2015, will continue to provide Portman with a branded version of its corporate rail platform along with content for its proprietary e-commerce platform, PortmanOne.
Commenting on the agreement, John Dick, Portman operations director, said: “We are very pleased to be continuing our long-standing relationship with Evolvi. It is a system liked by our people and, more importantly, by our clients, not just for its ease of use and constant evolution, but for its comprehensive management information, travel policy options and fulfilment channels.
“The fact that Evolvi is available exclusively to the TMC market is also a big plus point, because we know that the business focus is always on our sector and not on multiple markets…and we see this as a significant benefit.”
The EvolviNG system is used by 90% of UK TMCs and is the corporate agency market leader for online rail bookings and fulfilment.
The platform operates exclusively in partnership with 180 TMCs and is used by 22,000 client organisations and more than 1 million registered users.
