A mail carrier in the US Postal Service has begun a campaign for the permission to wear kilts on the job. Although the idea was defeated at the National Letter Carriers’ Association convention earlier this year, postman Dean Peterson is not giving up. Instead, he spent US$1,800 mailing letters of him wearing a prototype Postal Service kilt. His reason – kilts are more comfortable and suitable to the male anatomy.
