Pure Luxury reports latest peaks trends

Sarah Lancashire

Pure Luxury, the ultra-luxury B2B brand of dnata Travel Group UK, have identified the destinations that are  leading the way this January peaks. Thailand has proven to be popular amongst luxury bookers, with both  Pure Luxury bookings and room nights up 20%, compared to the previous peaks period.

Thailand is featured throughout Pure Luxury’s peaks campaign – Travel Trends 2024 – that launched at the  start of the year. Although luxury resorts across Phuket and Krabi are also performing well, it is Koh Samui  that has had the biggest impact, with sales growth at +100% year on year.

The brand has also reported that twin centre bookings into Thailand have grown +125%, and multi centre  bookings +75% compared to last year, suggesting customers are seeking more complex itineraries and have a  desire to explore more resorts while in this destination.

Maldives and Mauritius are known for being luxury destinations, so it is no surprise that these destinations  continue to sit in Pure Luxury’s top three. Mauritius has seen a 50% growth in sales, and Maldives a 25%  growth in sales compared to the previous year, with no signs of sales slowing down.

Sarah Lancashire, Marketing Director shared, “When we released Travel Trends 2024, we committed to  uncovering the most in-demand destinations, on-trend escapes and sought-after experiences for agents to  inspire their customers. It is exciting to see destinations, such as Thailand, rise as our experts expected, and  we have the perfect portfolio to fulfil this demand.”

Lancashire continued, “We are constantly growing our curated offering of luxury partners across the globe to  offer truly bespoke and extraordinary experience; as a result of this we are seeing more interest than ever  before into destinations such as New York, Seychelles, Jamaica, Mexico and Ras Al Khaimah to name a few.”
