Radisson RED, a brand under the Radisson Hotel Group, has unveiled its latest global initiative, 'City Beats', aiming to offer travellers a unique way to experience destinations through music and cultural immersion. This initiative, which spans Radisson RED hotels worldwide, seeks to connect guests with the essence of each city through live performances, collaborations with local artists, and curated DJ sets.
In today's fast-paced world, travellers are increasingly looking for experiences that go beyond traditional sightseeing. Radisson RED's 'City Beats' taps into this demand by using music—a universal language—to capture the spirit of each destination. The programme promises to deliver authentic cultural encounters that resonate with guests long after their stay.
The initiative is brought to life through three main avenues: 'Sounds of the City', which remixes urban soundscapes into original compositions; 'Live From @City', featuring rooftop sessions and DJ residencies; and 'Music Itineraries', offering curated routes through iconic venues and creative hotspots.
Radisson RED hotels in cities like Liverpool, Galway, Cape Town, Tbilisi, and Glasgow are already showcasing the 'City Beats' experience. For instance, Radisson RED Liverpool partners with electro-acoustic innovator Ain TheMachine to remix the city's urban soundscape, whilst Radisson RED Cape Town collaborates with content creator Chris Glaze to capture the city's vibrant rhythm.
Cristina Serra, Global Senior Vice President at Radisson Hotel Group, stated, “City Beats is our love letter to the cities we call home. Through live performances, local collaborations, and immersive storytelling, we’re creating experiences that let everyone tune into the city’s heartbeat.”
With 'City Beats', Radisson RED aims to transform its hotels into cultural hubs, offering guests a deeper connection to the cities they visit.
