Rats! A rat’s head was found in a snack pack made by Korea’s largest snack maker, Nongshim. The company has apologised and recalled the “Saewookkang” (shrimp snack) from all supermarkets, Korea Times reported.
The company was quoted explaining that a factory in China made the dough. It was fried, packed and distributed in Korea.
“I doubt the frying process in Busan is unhygienic, but we are looking into the possibility of the material being added during the dough process at our factory in China,” a Nongshim spokesman was quoted saying.
