The Red Carnation Hotel Collection has started 2016 in winning fashion, clocking up 29 awards in the 2016 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice awards across the categories of Top Hotels, Small Hotels, Luxury and Best Service.
Winning properties included the five-star Hotel 41 in London which was ranked number one amongst the Top 25 Luxury Hotels in the UK and number four in the Top 25 Luxury Hotels in Europe. The Milestone Hotel in London ranked number two amongst the Top 25 Hotels in the UK and number four for Luxury. The recently renovated Ashford Castle took out the second spot for the Top 25 Hotels in Ireland.
Red Carnation’s unique service offering was recognised with eight hotels ranked in the Best Service category and nine hotels in the Luxury category. The hotels across the collection that were recognised were: Hotel 41, The Milestone, The Montague on the Gardens, The Chesterfield Mayfair and The Egerton House Hotel in London, Old Government House Hotel in Guernsey, Ashford Castle in Ireland, The Oyster Box and The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa in South Africa and Hotel d’Angleterre in Switzerland.
For the 14th year, TripAdvisor has highlighted the world’s top properties based on the millions of reviews and opinions collected in a single year from travellers around the globe. The hallmarks of Travellers’ Choice winners are remarkable service, quality and value.
