02 Nov 09 (TravMedia.com): The newly formed Rendezvous Hospitality Group (RHG), operators of 13 Rendezvous and The Marque hotels across the Asia-Pacific region, has launched a new corporate logo to encapsulate the organisation’s dynamic new corporate direction and focus.
RHG’s new corporate logo now encompasses ‘The Wisdom Loop’, reflecting the company’s desire to learn through insight and deliver with care.
The Wisdom Loop is based on the ‘Tree of Wisdom’ or ‘Bodhi Tree’ where Buddha sat during four meditations before entering nirvana and reaching enlightenment. The ‘Endless Knot’, an important cultural marker is also incorporated into the logo, and symbolizes the union of wisdom and method.
Iqbal Jumabhoy, CEO of RHG said, “Our new brand promise at RHG is to be driven by insight and to deliver with care.
“Our promise, captured in the new RHG branding, represents three major elements. Our commitment to insight, operating with care, and open-mindedness,” explained Mr Jumabhoy.
RHG hopes to establish itself as being at the forefront of the hotel industry in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, in particular with business travellers.
RHG aims to be an organisation that is observant, has hotels with flair and style and keeps abreast of trends globally.
“Our customers will appreciate that RHG is an organisation that remains open-minded, with a corporate culture that promotes learning and shared knowledge,” Mr Jumabhoy added.
The RHG Corporate logo will be featured in various distinctive colours to represent different divisions of the organisation, including management, investment, ownership and leasing
