Public transport to and from Riga’s international airport has been improved following airBaltic’s partnership with a large bus operator. The airline has teamed up with AS Nordeka to serve an AirportExpress shuttle service from Riga International Airport to Riga city centre including several key hotels and the central bus station. “We are delighted to see improvements to AirportExpress service – a fleet of new busses, more stops in the city and at main hotels, and better connections to Riga Bus Terminal,” said Gregory Pomerantsev, SVP sales and marketing of airBaltic. “These improvements are important for airBaltic passengers travelling to/from destinations in Europe, Scandinavia, Middle East, Russia/CIS”. Sergejs Zabavnikovs, chairman of AS Nordeka said it will provide more links to cities and towns in Latvia.
