Rixos The Palm Dubai achieves 90% occupancy rate in 2016

Rixos The Palm Dubai has reported a 12% increase in occupancy rates in 2016 compared to the previous year, reaching its target average of 90%.
The influx of tourists in the UAE has led to the expansion of Rixos Hotels with additional hotels set to open soon. The next big opening of Rixos Hotels will be in one of Dubai’s prime locations, Jumeirah Beach. This location is well known to travel enthusiasts all over the world and as a result, the new hotel’s name is set to be defined by this.
“While the market is dropping by 10-12%, we have a 20% increase compared to the current market. These statistics look promising and we are eager to end the year on a positive note. Next year, we are targeting a 91% year-round occupancy as the first quarter of 2017 displays great potential, a consistency we would like to maintain.” said Erkan Yildirim, Senior Vice President of Operations.
Rixos The Palm Dubai has emerged as the best performing hotel this year on Instagram and Facebook within Rixos Hotels group of more than 20 hotels. In addition, Rixos The Palm Dubai has successfully remained at the top in other social media platforms competing with other key players in the industry.
Guest satisfaction is always a top priority at Rixos The Palm Dubai as this promotes customer loyalty and encourages guests to return to their favourite hotel.
This year, 25% of the guests who stayed at Rixos The Palm Dubai were repeat customers and for 2017 the resort is aiming to up this to 35%.
