Sabre Travel Network has appointed Harald Eisenaecher as its new senior vice president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Eiseneacher starts his new role on 1 September and joins the company from Deutsche Telekom AG, where he was most recently senior vice president, personal and social networking. He has also held senior roles at eBay Germany and Lufthansa. “Eisenaecher’s diverse marketing and commercial experience within the telecommunication, airline, and e-commerce industry give him unique perspective that is well matched to driving Sabre EMEA’s continued growth and expansion around the region,” said Greg Weeb, president of Sabre Travel Network. He replaces Martin Cowley, who is moving back to Australia to be with his family. Cowley will work for Sabre in the Asian markets.
