Oman Air’s first Boeing 787 Dreamliner took off on its inaugural flight from Muscat to Salalah.
The flight was hosted by Oman Air’s chief executive officer, Paul Gregorowitsch and members of his senior management team, accompanied by VIPs, senior government officials and dignitaries from public and private sector organisations. A warm welcome was offered to the guest of honour, HE Dr Mohammed bin Nasser Al Zaabi, chief executive officer of Oman’s Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA).
The inaugural flight was just a prelude to a selective guest list prior to the aircraft entering scheduled service on routes to Middle East and Europe.
The aircraft offers 18 seats in business class and 249 seats in economy class.
