Sandals launches a second Barbados Resort
Sandals Resorts will open more of its over-the-water VIP suites and a second resort in Barbados and will reopen resorts in Turks & Caicos and Antigua before the end of 2017.
Sandals Turks & Caicos is set to open its doors again on 14 December 2017 after undergoing renovations post Hurricane Irma. According to Sandals Resorts chairman, Gordon ‘Butch’ Stewart, both resorts will be “bigger and better” than before. Sandals Grande Antigua will also be reopening on 17 December.
The recently renamed Sandals South Coast resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica will open 12 over-the-water bungalows on 15 December. These include a patio with a Tranquillity Soaking Tub, a hammock for two that sits above the water, an outdoor shower, swim-up patio, ‘sea-through’ glass floors, and a spa-style bathroom plus butler service.
Barbados is set to welcome its second luxury-included Sandals Resort to the island on 20 December 2017. The new resort will offer 222 concierge- and butler-level suites as well as being home to a number of debuts, such as a ‘Lovers Lane’ bowling alley and a Skypool with La Parisienne French restaurant and poolside bar.
