SAS Scandinavian Airlines is to expand in the Middle East and to South Asia by using Dubai as its regional hub, Gulf News reported the carrier’s General Manager for the UAE, Albert Henschel, as saying. In an interview with the newspaper, Henschel said that it would expand operations at Dubai from its current three weekly services from Copenhagen.
“Dubai is a good and increasing market and the region is becoming more and more important for us,” Henschel said, adding that there is an “exciting demand from tourists”.
