Science Centre Singapore showcases sharks

Science Centre Singapore has announced that a new shark ehxibition will makes its make its world debut on 16 April. ‘Planet Shark – Predator or Prey’, which runs until 21 August 2011, looks at the evolution and biology of the shark, as well as their portrayal in popular culture.
The exhbition features full-scale specimen models, including the record-setting 5.5-metre Great White, an extensive collection of real shark jaws, teeth and fossils dating as far back as 350 million years, artefacts and memorabilia from the movie JAWS, interactive displays and videos. There is also a display of a real, frozen 312kg bluefin tuna and its natural predator, a 226kg Mako shark.
