The Yachts of Seabourn took delivery of Seabourn Sojourn today at the T. Mariotti shipyard, Italy. Sojourn’s godmother Twiggy will officially name the yacht during an onboard ceremony in London on 4 June. In addition, the yacht has been donated to Breast Cancer Haven to host its 10th anniversary celebrations. “I am so proud to accept delivery of our newest yacht, Seabourn Sojourn,” said Seabourn President and CEO Pamela C. Conover. “I’m gratified that Seabourn’s yachting style of cruising is more popular than ever.” After two days of inaugural celebrations, the 450-guest Sojourn will take its maiden voyage on 6 June. It will operate 12 and 14-night voyages to the Baltic, Scandinavia, Russia, Norwegian Fjords, and Scotland in the summer, as well as Mediterranean cruises in autumn. Similar to its sister ship, the Seabourn Odyssey, Sojourn will have 225 suites, some with a private solarium and veranda. It has a two-deck spa, herbal bath facility and aroma steam bath. Four restaurants will be on board and six bars and lounges.
