The Yacht of Seabourn’s new addition, the Seabourn Sojourn, debuted in London last Friday morning. Sojourn is the second of three new vessels to join the line’s fleet in three years. She was moored in London over the weekend before her maiden voyage departure yesterday. “With its wealth of historical maritime connections and excellent transport links to Europe and international destinations, Greenwich is a fitting location for the Yachts of Seabourn to launch its new ship,” said Greenwich Council Leader Cllr Chris Roberts. “In Greenwich we are working to secure berths for two international cruise liner terminals so that we can welcome more international visitors to our borough, particularly during the Olympics.” The 225-suite ship offers the highest space per guest ratio with 450 guests in ocean-view suites. It has four dining venues, six bars and lounges and a spa. British supermodel Twiggy was officially named godmother of the ship in the evening’s ceremony.
