SeaDream Yacht Club has dropped a consultant in the UK to focus on expanding its trade-facing UK sales team.
Graham Andrew has left the cruise company after completing a one-year consultancy role to grow the company’s charter and incentive sales.
SeaDream’s uK managing director Andy Magowan said UK sales for the company are 50% up compared to this time last year.
As well as looking to hire more UK-based staff, the cruise line will be gearing up for its first cruise sailing out of the UK – a 14-night Baltic Capitals voyage departing 16 August from Dover.
“As part of SeaDream’s ongoing UK restructure, charter and incentive business continues to be a key focus. Bespoke ‘milestone’ and/or ‘private celebration’ exclusive vessel charters are on the increase and many of our trade partners have these potential guests,” explained Magowan.
“As such, responsibility for sourcing this business will be incorporated into the roles of the expanding trade-facing UK sales team. I look forward to making further announcements regarding the UK sales team in the very near future.”
