Authorities have expanded the search area of the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.

Azharuddin Abdul Rahman from the Malaysia Civil Aviation Authority also said from debris had been spotted south of Hong Kong, but there has been no confirmation of any debris linked to the missing Boeing aircraft and its 239 passengers.
Earlier today it was confirmed an oil slick in the sea off the Malaysian coast was not related to the aircraft.
Meanwhile, Rahman said investigators have been checking video footage at check in and departure at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and found all security protocols were compiled with, after it was found two passengers on the aircraft are travelling with stolen passports.
The passports, one from Austria and the other from Italy, were thought to have been from Thailand although the passengers were “not Asian-looking men”.
When asked at a press conference, Rahman said the two men ‘looked like’ footballer Mario Balotelli.
