Second ‘Palace on Wheels’ on track for India

A second super-luxury train will commence services in Rajasthan from 11 January, The Times of India has reported. The ‘Royal Rajasthan on Wheels’ will be run jointly by Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation and Indian Railways. The itinerary of the train will take it from New Delhi to Jaipur, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Bharatpur and Agra, before arriving back to the capital after an eight-day-long journey. The new train joins the existing ‘Palace-on-Wheels’.
