On 1 December 2009, Shangri-La’s Villingili Resort and Spa, Maldives launched a new villa category under the name of Deluxe Pool Villa. To celebrate the launch, the resort is offering guests a special package valid from 16 January to 9 May 2010 that includes a seven-night stay for the price of five and a USD500 credit per villa per stay that guests can use in any of the resort’s restaurants and bars.
Eight of the existing resort’s Beach Villas are rebranded to Deluxe Pool Villas, creating a new villa category with exclusive characteristics.
Located on the eastern side of Villingili Island, Deluxe Pool Villas offer exclusive privacy with a spacious and lush garden that leads to a coral beach. Each villa features a 30-square-metre infinity pool from where guests can enjoy the views of the gentle rolling ocean. Set over two separate pavilions, the bedroom and living room face the sea, while the spacious patio features outdoor furniture designed for dining under the stars on a balmy evening.
