Sharjah International Airport is making arrangements for a trouble-free summer season, the Gulf News has reported. The UAE hub has seen rapid growth recently, in large part due to the growth of Sharjah-based low cost carrier Air Arabia, and airport officials are keen to make a good impression. “We have taken measures to ensure the airport is well equipped to meet the increase in passenger movement during the summer season. We are prepared to deal with and overcome all challenges,” said Ali Salem Al Midfa, Director of the Sharjah Airport Authority.
