Sharjah welcomed its first boutique hotel catering to business and leisure travellers. 72 BY HUES was officially opened under patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, deputy chairman of the Sharjah Petroleum Council and chairman of Sharjah Media Corporation.
“We are always looking for new investment opportunities, and Sharjah’s potential and economy made our decision to expand into the Emirate easy” said Daousser Chennoufi, concept creator and partner of HUES Hotels & Resorts, Dubai; chairman and key architect of the Draw Link Group, Dubai. “Naturally we faced some challenges to reach this point, as we had to convert an old office building into a boutique five-star hotel.”
The new hotel offers 72 rooms including all the services. HUES Hotels & Resorts are currently working on another project in Fujairah which is scheduled to be completed by end of 2014, with plans of another hotel of its kind in Sharjah in future.
