Shaza Hotels have added three more hotels to their portfolio. Shaza Jeddah was signed recently and is the most recent of the three projects to be signed.
The new 140-room hotel will showcase the triple-story lobby, signature Shaza Hammam and Spa, three new concepts in dining and a ballroom. The property is due to open early 2017. The next project is the Shaza Amman which will be part of a mixed-use complex, featuring a shopping mall and an office tower.
The hotel will have close proximity to the newly opened Queen Alia International Airport. The 203 room property will feature the first suspended restaurant and the largest Hammam and Spa in the city, and is expected to open in the second quarter of 2014.
“There has been an increase in demand in the region, but more precisely the MENA region. We have identified Jeddah and Amman, as strategically significant locations for Shaza. These hotels will form an essential part of our growing network of hotels,” said Simon Coombs, president and CEO of Shaza Hotels.
With an existing portfolio of 11 hotels under development or in operation, and six projects in advanced discussions, Shaza Hotels continues to be on track to 25 luxury hotels in the next five years.
