Starwood Hotels & Resorts has added a new collection of Sheraton villas to one of Thailand’s most popular beach resorts, Hua Hin.
Located on Thailand’s Gulf coast, approximately three hours’ drive from Bangkok, the new Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas is set on a stretch of sandy coastline, 22km south of Hua Hin town. The converted 55-villa property is owned by Honor Business Company – the same firm that owns the 240-room Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa, further up the coast.
The new property features a selection of one- and two-bedroom pool villas and suites, all featuring private pools, walled gardens and butler service. Hotel facilities at the hotel include a swimming pool with spa services, a restaurant and bar. In late 2014, the property will open an additional food and beverage venue, another swimming pool, a kids’ club and fitness centre.
Guests can also use a free shuttle bus service to access the more extensive facilities at the Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa.
“We are thrilled to partner with Honor Business Company on this conversion in Prachuap Kirikhan, a popular seaside retreat on the Gulf of Siam,” said Lothar Pehl, Starwood’s regional vice president for Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Japan, Korea & Guam. “Through its conversion-friendly strategy, Starwood offers owners the opportunity to reposition existing properties and affiliate themselves with strong global brands that resonate with travellers in markets worldwide.”
Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas becomes Starwood’s 21st property in Thailand and its fifth under the Sheraton brand.
