SIA raises fuel surcharges

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has increased its fuel surcharges by as much as US$26 per sector in response to the recent rise in oil prices. With jet fuel now costing around US$131 per barrel, the airline’s largest fuel surcharge is now US$258, for First Class routes between Singapore and the Americas. The lowest surcharge is now US$30, for Economy Class tickets on routes to Southeast Asia.
