Silversea Cruises is offering UK travel agents the opportunity to learn about expedition cruising at a series of seminars in London, Manchester and Glasgow. The company’s director of expeditions, Conrad Combrink, will host the events, sharing his experience in the expedition cruise field, which has seen him travel to some of the world’s most remote destinations such as Antarctica, the South Pacific, Russia’s Far East and Alaska.
Steve Odell, Silversea’s senior vice president for the UK, Europe & Asia Pacific said; “We value the support of the travel trade and feel that specific training on Expedition cruising is invaluable in order to maximise such a niche market. With the higher yields available in the expedition sector the earning potential for agents is greater than the regular cruise market.”
The seminar dates are as follows:
London – Monday 17th October at 8.30am, One Great George Street
Manchester – Wednesday 26th October at 8.30am, The Radisson Edwardian
Glasgow – Thursday 27th October at 8.30am, The Corinthian Club
Agents wishing to join should email eventreply@silversea.com.
