The Singapore government has appointed the architect and engineering consultant for the International Cruise Terminal at Marina South.
Bermello, Ajamil & Partners, Inc. and RSP Architects Planners & Engineers (Pte) Ltd have been selected for the architectural design and Maunsell Consultants (Singapore) Pte Ltd as the engineering consultant for the project which will be completed in 2010.
The Singapore Tourism Board said the design would incorporate a terminal building alongside two berths and other facilities necessary to accommodate the largest ships currently in service, as well as those currently under construction.
Piling and construction works for the berth deck are expected to commence in the second half of the year.
