Singapore set to lure ME visitors to F1 carnival

Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has teamed up with two regional travel agencies to offer travel packages for this year’s Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix.
The racing carnival, which will be staged in downtown Singapore between 24 and 26 September, will once again culminate with F1’s only night race of the season.
Travel packages offered by MMI Travel and Omeir Travel in association with the race promoter Singapore GP cover airfares, hotel accommodation and entrance to the F1 Circuit Park, which for the first time this year includes access to10 stages of live entertainment featuring top-name acts, such as Mariah Carey, Missy Elliot, Daughtry and Adam Lambert.
For regional travellers heading to Singapore ahead of the race weekend, an extensive list of lifestyle events have been planned, including raced-themed parties and arts and cultural exhibitions.
Super club Avalon will stage the GO! Music festival at the Marina Bay Sands, which will feature top acts including Flo Rida, Empire of the Sun and SantiGold alongside DJs such as Above and Beyond, the Chemical Brothers and Steve Angello.
For art lovers, the Art Beyond Limits fine-art exhibition will feature the works of artists including Andy Warhol and Fernando Botero.
