Singapore-based vacation rental booking site PandaBed.com is offering what it claims to be the world’s ‘best internship’.
The campaign will see one young person given the chance to work as a bed tester for PandaBed.com, travelling across Southeast Asia to stay in some of the company’s partner homes, villas and apartments.
And to make sure they don’t get lonely on the trip, the successful intern will be able to bring along a friend.
“A lot of young people want to travel and experience Asia,” said James Chua, who co-founded PandaBed.com in early 2013. “Cost and a trusted host are key to having a good memorable experience. We thought the best way would be to let a young person and his friend to travel and document their experience.”
The road trip will cover 10 destinations over 30 days, and interns will be paid for their trouble.
All applicants need to do is submit a brief bio or resume along with a one minute video explaining why they’re the right person for the job. PandaBed said that candidates should have “good writing, photography skills and an active social media profile”. CLICK HERE for further details.
The winner will be announced on 15 August and the internship will start on September.
A vacation rental and homestay site, PandaBed.com was founded by Singaporeans Lester Kang and James Chua, as an “alternative to hotels”.
